I find myself writing a lot of the same emails when onboarding new clients. Now, I hate canned emails, and I highly advise against using them. However, no matter the client, I need the same info from them when building their site, creating their logo, or setting up a video or photo shoot. Templatizing (I invented a word!) that redundant piece of the onboarding email is a HUGE time saver! I use the template and personalize the intro and outro of the onboarding email.
Sadly, creating templates in Gmail is not intuitive, and saving drafts does not work very well. Here is a short walk through to creating templates in Gmail that you can use over and over and over again!
